If you are a homeowner, at some point you may run into some uninvited guests. Mice and rats are drawn into homes because of the comfortable living spaces, warmth and availability to food sources.
It’s important to keep tabs on whether these rodent’s are claiming your abode. They are known disease carriers and can multiply very quickly (8 litters a year of 4-8 pups!) They also reach maturity at 8 weeks old!
Look for small holes in walls or cabinets, monitor your food supply (corners of cereal boxes etc) and other easy accessible areas. They may not be looking for food specifically, but taking these pieces of cardboard and paper to build nests for their litters. In addition, be aware of any mice/rat droppings. These droppings look like cylindrical pellets and definitely mean you have a problem!
If you notice any of these signs, be sure to call Advantage Pest Control for the best control strategy.
